Review of Pricing

14/10/2015

The committee reviewed the pricing structure at a recent committee meeting and decided that the only increase for 2016 would be to the premium charged during July and August.  The price list which can be found under our Terms & Conditions page has been updated to reflect the changes.  Anyone who has confirmed their booking already will be unaffected.  Local Groups are least affected by this change as they are not very active in July and August.  The committee will review prices for 2017 and any bookings for 2017 will be subject to this review.

Picture Hanging System in Action

29/7/2015

Picture
This shows the new picture hanging system in action around the walls of the village hall as well as one of the old stands on the left of the picture.  The intention is to retire the old stands and purchase new stands using the same system as used on the walls, as soon as we can obtain a grant for the purpose.  The reason is that the old stands are unweildy and damage the floor whereas the new stands are very light and easy to handle.

Last night the hall was filled to near capacity to see a performance of From Here to Absurdity which had the audience in stitches much of the time. The village hall committee would like to thank everyone who came along, we managed to raise over £250 towards the upkeep of the hall.
